The Goalie Post!

This is a blog entry I had over on Myspace a while ago that I never use anymore...but it's my favorite blonde moment story, so I thought I'd share it again..

Tonight, Myself, Michael and Helen (and baby Caitlin!) went to the ESPNZone in Washington D.C. for a Meet and Greet with Capitals Goalie- Jose Theodore!  When we got there, they were setting up a little raffle table while we ordered drinks and food. As I was standing at the table, waiting for a pen to sign my raffle ticket, I noticed a guy wearing a Theodore jersey. Punk! Where did he get that! I'd been looking for a Jose shirt and or a Jersey for awhile now, but have been unsuccessful.

While thinking about asking him where he got it, I heard him ask the lady what was going on, and the lady explaining the raffle. By the time I was done writing my card, he had moved on, so I went back to my table.

Only to over hear the random boys sitting with us "Hey, dude! there he is!" and pointing in a general direction. Naturally, my response was to follow their gazes...only to see the guy.. wearing the...Theodore...jersey....well shit.

I was standing right next to Jose Theodore and had NO. IDEA.

But OH how grand it would have been to ask him where he got his jersey from, huh? Hahahahaha.. Only me! 

The rest of the night was alot of fun. Q and A sessions with fans asking is never safe. lol. Though Jose DID say he would go to someones Prom, assuming there was no game that night. :)

AND I got my jersey signed! Woohoo! And didn't manage to make an ass out of myself in the process..and for those that know me..that is no small feat! :)
