Voiceless.

As much as facebook gets a bad rep, I am among one of the people who use it as a lifeline to some of the outside world.  It allowed me to reconnect with people I haven't seen in 10 years, since High School...some, even since Middle School.

But today, as I was commenting on an old friends status, it dawned on me that I couldn't remember what their voice sounded like.  I can recall things they have said to me, places we went, classes we had together, but the abscence of speaking to them directly has caused me to forget their voice.  And then I went through everyone I've been disconnected with...and found the same thing.

It's kind of sad.
